How To Make a Breakfast Smoothie

I am a big fan of making smoothies for breakfast.  I have been doing this for the past 10 years.  If find it’s a great way to get your daily quota of fruits and vegetables.  I also like adding extra goodies to my smoothies such as chia seeds, hemp seeds, flaxseed, pumpkin seeds, or nut butter.

When making a breakfast smoothie you want a smoothie that will keep you full until lunchtime.  The last thing you want is to find yourself hunting around for a snack two hours after consuming a smoothie.

A breakfast smoothie should contain fruit, vegetables, healthy fats, protein, and fiber.  If your smoothie has all of these characteristics you have created a great breakfast smoothie.
