How to Make an Apple Smoothie

I like to use Fuji apples in my smoothie since they are sweet and crunchy, however, any type of apple will work in these apple smoothie recipes.   When making an apple smoothie add the liquids first, then the fruits and vegetables.  You can then add extra ingredients such as chia seeds, ginger, cinnamon, or oats.

If you want to thicken an apple smoothie you can add items such as nut butter, frozen fruits, or yogurt.  If you want to thin out your apple smoothie just add more liquid.  Fruit juice is the best liquid since you don’t want to dilute the taste of your smoothie.
